
Two Russian-owned post-Panamax container ships that were detained in Malta for three years, have been transferred to entities linked to German tonnage provider Hammonia
Reederei.
The 2006-built 8,204 TEU ships, formerly called MSC Bilbao and MSC Valencia, were detained since mid-2022, because of sanctions on their previous owner, Russian state-owned leasing company GTLK Joint Stock Company.
