Ports of Stockholm names new Technical Manager for Kapellskär

Ports of Stockholm has appointed Danjel Jansson as the new Technical Operations Manager at the Port of Kapellskär.

With extensive experience in port operations and his prior role as deputy Technical Operations Manager at the same port, Jansson will lead one of Sweden’s key cargo hubs.

Magdalena Bosson, CEO of Ports of Stockholm, stated: “We are delighted that Danjel Jansson has accepted the role of Technical Operations Manager at Port of Kapellskär. With his experience and expertise, I am confident that he will contribute to the further development and strengthening of our operations at Kapellskär in an excellent way.”

Furthermore, Jansson served as the deputy Technical Operations Manager at the Port of Kapellskär for the past two years before stepping into his new role at the start of the year. He takes over from Peter Lundman, who is transitioning to new opportunities within the company after many years of dedicated service.

Before joining the Port of Kapellskär, Jansson spent a decade as a port and marine contractor, working on tasks such as stevedoring, cargo handling, machinery operations, and sea transport. He has also gained experience in customer relations and administrative roles.

Danjel Jansson commented: “I am really looking forward to working together with the skilled team at Port of Kapellskär to develop our cooperation with our customers and partners. Together, we will capitalise on the port’s unique potential and development opportunities.”
