Port of Valencia sees container traffic growth in March

Port of Valencia recorded a double-digit increase in container traffic, both for filled and empty boxes, in March, compared with the same month last year.

In particular, the major Spanish port handled 322,137 TEUs in the previous month, which translates to a 16.7% increase over March 2022.

In addition, 144,079 transit containers were operated this month in Valencia, which represents a 10.3% growth compared with the same month in 2022. Similarly, the number of empty boxes in Valenciaport increased by 26.3% in March.
