The Port of Koper (Luka Koper) has reached a major milestone, handling its millionth TEU of 2025 on the morning of October 15 — a full month earlier than last year and nearly two months ahead of previous records.
In 2024, the port reached this landmark in November, while in earlier years it typically occurred toward the end of December. This year’s earlier achievement highlights Koper’s continued growth momentum despite persistent global logistics challenges.
“This achievement is even more significant given the ongoing challenges in global logistics,” the port said in a statement, extending its thanks to employees and business partners for their dedication, resilience, and hard work.
The milestone underscores the Port of Koper’s strengthening position as a key gateway for Central and Eastern Europe, driven by operational efficiency and strong partnerships across the supply chain.
