The Port of Corpus Christi has introduced a new public outreach initiative with monthly guided tours of its Executive Administration Building at 400 Charles Zahn Jr. Drive.
Designed to deepen community engagement, the program invites members of the public to gain a firsthand look at the Port’s operations, infrastructure, and its role in driving global trade, regional economic development, and environmental responsibility.
Rosaura De Los Santos Bailey, Director of Community Relations at the Port of Corpus Christi, commented that this initiative underscores a commitment to transparency, education, and cultivating strong relationships with the communities
The complimentary tours will take place on the third Wednesday of each month, with two sessions offered at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Each tour will last approximately 1 to 1.5 hours and will include a presentation followed by a walkthrough of the administration facilities.
Omar Garcia, Chief External Affairs Officer for the Port, noted the goal is to ensure that their neighbors feel connected to the Port and confident in their commitment to serving the public, locally, regionally, and globally.
Advance registration is required and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
This new initiative represents a meaningful step toward strengthening public understanding of the Port’s vital role in commerce and community stewardship.
