Port of Antwerp-Bruges announces new intra-Belgium intermodal link

Port of Antwerp-Bruges is now rail-connected to the La Louviere area in Belgium. From September, Duferco Logistique is operating a weekly rail link from its terminal Garocentre in Houdeng Goegies to MPET’s maritime terminal in Antwerp. This trimodal terminal was additionally linked by a waterway.

The new intermodal link began on 15 September, with a weekly frequency at first, gradually increasing to three times per week.
