Piraeus Port Authority hosted Kazakh delegation to explore strategic cooperation

Piraeus Port Authority S.A. recently welcomed a high-level delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan to its headquarters as part of an official visit aimed at fostering closer cooperation in transport and logistics.

The delegation included senior representatives from Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Transport, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Greece, the Port of Aktau, and key organizations such as Kazmortransflot, Kedentransservice, Kaspi Grain Way, and Kazakh Invest.

During the visit, the delegation held a high-level meeting with Mr. Angelos Karakostas, Deputy CEO of PPA S.A., where discussions focused on expanding collaboration in maritime services, port operations, and freight logistics.

The meeting also emphasized strengthening bilateral relations between Greece and Kazakhstan.

This exchange marks the beginning of a promising dialogue on developing synergies between the Port of Piraeus and strategic stakeholders in Kazakhstan, with the goal of enhancing connectivity and trade routes between Asia and Europe.
