PIL has officially opened a new office in Montevideo, Uruguay, marking a key step in expanding its presence across Latin America.
The office opening comes just five months after the company’s 14,000 TEU LNG-powered vessel first called at Montecon, Uruguay. PIL is continuing to push boundaries in sustainable shipping.
Customers and partners attended the official opening in August. The event showcased PIL’s services, strengthened relationships, and highlighted the company’s commitment to efficient, future-focused logistics solutions in the region.
PIL’s ES1 service connects Uruguay to Asia. It imports electronics, white goods, and machinery, while exporting frozen meat, timber, and dairy products. The modern fleet, including LNG-powered vessels, ensures more sustainable and efficient shipping.
The new office reinforces PIL’s commitment to Latin America and supports trade growth and connectivity across the region. PIL continues to deliver smarter logistics, one port at a time.
