Pacific International Lines is expanding its strategic reach in Latin America with the launch of two new feeder services: West Coast Central America Feeder 1 and West Coast Central America Feeder 2.
These additions will enhance PIL’s connectivity with key Central American markets, including Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and El Salvador, and complement the company’s existing West Coast South America routes.
With these new services, PIL now operates a total of five service routes across Latin America, offering customers greater access, improved transit options, and stronger regional trade support.
William Ho, General Manager of Long Haul Trade, Line Management at PIL note that by expanding our network and deploying additional vessels, they’re enhancing service coverage and enabling our customers to capture new growth opportunities.
The CA2 service will begin operations on 31 August 2025 from Lázaro Cárdenas, Mexico, while CA1 will launch on 9 September 2025 from Buenaventura, Colombia.
Both services will integrate seamlessly into PIL’s global network, utilizing the company’s modern fleet and proven operational capabilities.
The port calls for CA1 will be: Buenaventura – Corinto – Puerto Caldera – Buenaventura
and for CA2 will be: Lázaro Cárdenas – Acajutla – Lázaro Cárdenas
