PIL gets license to operate in Saudi Ports

MAWANI

The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) has issued a unified license to PIL, officially recognizing it as an authorized foreign investor in the Kingdom’s ports.

The license follows the Maritime Agency Services regulations and aims to boost efficiency and operational quality at Saudi ports. It also encourages knowledge transfer and aligns local practices with international standards.

PIL, headquartered in Riyadh, operates in 29 countries. The license supports Mawani’s efforts to attract global expertise, enhance competitiveness, and develop the maritime business environment.

This move strengthens Saudi Arabia’s role as a regional logistics hub and a strategic link between three continents, in line with the National Transport and Logistics Strategy.
