Pacific International Lines (PIL) has successfully completed the trial of its first intermodal shipment from Jakarta to Cikarang Dry Port (CDP) — a key milestone in expanding its inland logistics capabilities across Indonesia.
On 3 October 2025, the shipment arrived at Koja Terminal, Jakarta on PIL’s North China Indonesia Service (NCI). From there, 25 containers were seamlessly transported by rail to CDP, completing the journey in just 6–8 hours, with door-to-door delivery achieved within a single day.
This milestone demonstrates PIL’s commitment to improving supply chain efficiency through integrated logistics solutions, combining ocean and inland transport for faster and more reliable delivery.
The new intermodal connection complements PIL’s two direct services into Jakarta — the NCI (North China Indonesia Service) and KCI (Korea China Indonesia Service) — enhancing trade links and opening new opportunities for customers seeking efficient, multimodal transport solutions via Cikarang Dry Port.
