OOCL posts strong Q1 results with surge in revenue and box volumes

For the first quarter of 2025, Orient Overseas Container Line’s (OOCL’s) revenues reached US$2.3 billion, representing a 17% growth compared to the same period last year.

The COSCO-owned container line increased its total lifting by 9% to 1.96 million TEUs, while the loadable capacity increased by 8.5%.

The overall load factor was 0.6% higher than the same period in 2024, and the overall average revenue per TEU increased by 6.9% year-on-year.
