OOCL Logistics enhances its presence in Latin America

Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) Logistics has announced the expansion of its global network in Latin America with the establishment of a new office in Costa Rica.

[s2If is_user_logged_in()]At a formal opening ceremony held on 15 February, the Hong Kong-based carrier inaugurated the OOCL Logistics (Costa Rica), S.R.L. office.

OOCL Logistics described this new office as an important milestone as it is its first wholly-owned location in Latin America. The company expects this “flagship office” will strengthen its ability to deliver quality services and build stronger business relationships with customers throughout Central America and global clients active in this trade region.

“This expansion is an important step towards our commitment to continue the growth of the OOCL Logistics’ brand and network in the region which currently includes multiple locations throughout South America and the Caribbean,” commented OOCL in its announcement.

In addition, OOCL believes that the Costa Rica office will play a crucial role in enhancing its operational efficiency within the Americas region, providing more comprehensive and competitive services to its customers.

“In parallel with this expansion initiative, we will continue to work closely with our business partners and exclusive agents to ensure all regional trucking, shipping, and air freight operations are moving seamlessly and according to the needs of our clients’ global supply chains,” added the company.
