OOCL is launching a new Transpacific Latin Pacific 8 (TLP8) service to boost links between Asia and Mexico.
The route will connect Qingdao to Ensenada in 16 days and to Manzanillo in 20 days. It adds to the carrier’s existing TLP1, TLP2, TLP5, and TLP6 services.
The port rotation for TLP8 will be: Shanghai – Qingdao – Ensenada – Manzanillo – Ensenada – Yokohama – Shanghai.
The first sailing from Shanghai is scheduled for August 20, 2025. OOCL says the new loop will enhance coverage in emerging markets and offer faster connections for shippers.
