OneStop to implement container management solutions at Port of Newcastle

OneStop, a supply chain optimisation solution provider, has entered a strategic partnership with the Port of Newcastle to transform the port’s container freight operations.

Starting from 5 August, the cutting-edge OneStop Modal and Vehicle Booking System (VBS) solutions will be implemented at the Australian port.

OneStop’s advanced solutions are expected to revolutionise the Port of Newcastle by improving operational efficiency, streamlining container movements, and optimising traffic flow management.

OneStop VBS is anticipated to minimise truck waiting times and reduce bottlenecks, ensuring smooth container flow and boosting productivity. OneStop Modal solution will also enhance container handling coordination, improve turnaround times and integrate seamlessly with existing logistics processes.

OneStop aims to alleviate congestion both within the port and in surrounding transport networks, resulting in faster and more reliable freight transit.

Sam Askin, CEO at OneStop, commneted, “Our partnership with the Port of Newcastle is a testament to our commitment to creating a more sustainable and efficient supply chain ecosystem. By leveraging our advanced OneStop Modal & VBS solutions, and incorporating the latest technology capabilities, we are poised to transform containerised freight operations and drive significant economic and environmental benefits for the region.”
