ONE website established for APUS cargo owners’ information

Ocean Network Express (ONE) has set up a website for cargo owners that had freight on board the ONE Apus, which lost around 1,800 containers in a severe storm on the night of the 30 November to the 1 December.

[s2If is_user_logged_in()] The Singapore-based carrier has said that up to 13 January some 277 containers had been discharged from the vessel, which is now moored at Kobe Port in Japan and inspections for both cargo and container integrity will take place as the containers are unloaded.

Freight owners can get further information on their cargo by visiting the dedicated site at this link.

In a statement, ONE said, “Customers are recommended to visit this site on a daily basis to check for updated information. Customers will need to know their container number, port of loading and port of discharge in order to find out the current status of their container.”

Shippers who booked cargo with HMM, Hapag-Lloyd and Yang Ming will be able to obtain limited information from the ONE information site. More detailed requests will need to be put to the carrier that the cargo was booked with.[/s2If]
