Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced that its Pacific North 1 (PN1) service will discontinue calls at the Port of Xiamen starting in fiscal year 2026 as part of adjustments within the Premier Alliance network.
The change is part of the company’s ongoing strategy to optimize its global network structure and strengthen service reliability across key trade corridors linking Asia and North America.
According to ONE, the removal of the Xiamen call is intended to streamline operations on the transpacific route while maintaining efficient cargo connections through alternative routing options.
Cargo to and from Xiamen will continue to be supported through alternative services. Shipments can be routed via the Port of Pusan using ONE’s in-house feeder service, the Xiamen Kaohsiung Shuttle (XKS). From there, cargo will connect to the Far East Pacific 2 (FP2) service for both eastbound and westbound routes or to the Pacific North 3 (PN3) service for eastbound shipments.
The revised rotation for the PN1 service will remove Xiamen from the port sequence. Under the current rotation, the service calls at Xiamen, Kaohsiung, Ningbo, Nagoya, Tokyo, Tacoma, Vancouver, Tokyo, Kobe, Nagoya and returns to Xiamen.
From FY2026 onward, the new rotation will begin and end in Kaohsiung, calling at Kaohsiung, Ningbo, Nagoya, Tokyo, Tacoma, Vancouver, Tokyo, Kobe, Nagoya and back to Kaohsiung.
ONE confirmed that the final sailing on the PN1 service that will include a call at Xiamen will be the vessel YM PLUM voyage 194E. The ship is scheduled to arrive in Xiamen on April 23, 2026, before continuing its transpacific voyage with an estimated arrival in Tacoma on May 14, 2026.
