
Ocean Network Express (ONE) has released an additional update regarding the fire incident onboard M/V ONE HENRY HUDSON at the Port of Los Angeles, following its fifth customer advisory.
The vessel remains alongside at Yusen Terminal (YTI). ONE confirmed that the initial phase of cargo discharge operations was completed on Friday, 26 December 2025. During this phase, Yusen Terminal discharged dry containers from the affected cargo hold that were not impacted by the fire or by firefighting water.
The next phase of cargo discharge, involving distressed containers, commenced on 29 December 2025. ONE said that additional water discharge operations within the cargo hold are also expected to be carried out as part of the ongoing recovery process.
All discharged containers are currently being held at Yusen Terminal (YTI) for inspection by the United States Coast Guard (USCG), as well as for procedures related to General Average and salvage.
ONE said it continues to cooperate fully with all relevant authorities and stakeholders and will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
