Ocean Network Express (ONE) is introducing temporary rules for empty container returns. This follows disruptions in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz. The measures protect vessels, crew, and cargo. They apply to all import shipments into UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, and Oman. The rules are effective immediately and remain in force until further notice.

  • Saudi Arabia – Jeddah

Customers must return empty containers only to these locations. Local detention and demurrage tariffs apply, according to local laws.
