ONE expands global fleet with new vessel

Ocean Network Express (ONE) has officially added ONE Singapore to its growing fleet, marking the sixth unit in a series of 20 next-generation, ammonia- and methanol-ready containerships.

The naming ceremony was held at the Hiroshima Shipyard of Imabari Shipbuilding in Japan.

The new vessel has a capacity of 13,900 TEUs, while it is methanol and ammonia-ready. ONE Singapore follows the successful delivery of ONE Sparkle, the company’s first self-owned newbuild and its sister ships.

Jeremy Nixon, CEO of ONE, stated that ONE Singapore signifies further progress in the fleet expansion strategy.
