Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced an enhancement to its Singapore Myanmar Service (SMM), introducing a dedicated weekly call at Myanmar International Terminals Thilawa (MITT) starting from May 2026.
The addition of the Thilawa call is aimed at strengthening connectivity between Myanmar and ONE’s global network via Singapore, while supporting growing cargo demand in the region.
Located near Yangon, the Thilawa area has developed into a key industrial and logistics hub, driven by the expansion of manufacturing, trading and export-oriented activities within the Thilawa Special Economic Zone.
According to ONE, the service upgrade will provide improved access for customers operating in the area, offering more efficient and reliable shipping options.
The enhancement forms part of the carrier’s broader strategy to optimize regional services and support evolving trade flows across Southeast Asia.
