Taiwanese mainline operator Evergreen said it will focus on emerging markets to counter global geopolitical uncertainty.

In May, Ocean Network Express (ONE) and Evergreen will shift their Transatlantic AT2/TAE2 service, on which CMA CGM, CoscoSL/OOCL and Yang Ming charter slots, from Rotterdam to Southampton, according to the latest DynaLiners report.

This operation was launched in February following the alliance shuffle that left ONE without a Transatlantic partner, noted the report.

The revised itinerary will be Le Havre (France), Southampton (UK), Antwerp (Belgium), Bremerhaven (Germany), Charleston (US), Savannah (US) and back to Le Havre.
