Windcat has officially launched Windcat Rotterdam, the first of six vessels in its new CSOV Elevation Series, developed in partnership with Damen Shipyards Group and CMB.TECH and constructed at Ha Long Shipyard in Vietnam. The delivery marks a major milestone in expanding Windcat’s offshore service capabilities.
The Windcat Rotterdam is a Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV), designed to support construction, commissioning and maintenance activities for offshore energy projects. It serves as a floating base for personnel and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient access to offshore assets.
The vessel accommodates up to 120 people and prioritises comfort, offering spacious cabins, a gym, entertainment areas, and full catering and housekeeping services. The interior was designed with specialist input to provide a “home away from home” experience for offshore personnel, while also setting new standards in performance and decarbonisation.
