The Ocean Alliance has expanded the port rotation of its Mediterranean–Far East BEX2 service with the addition of the Turkish port of Mersin.
The BEX2 service, operated by CMA CGM, is routed via the Suez Canal and links the Mediterranean with key Asian hubs. With the inclusion of Mersin, the service will enhance connectivity for eastern Mediterranean and Turkish cargo flows on the Asia–Europe trade lane.
According to Dynaliners, the updated rotation will see the BEX2 service circulate between Beirut, Alexandria, Tripoli, Rijeka, Koper, Trieste, Mersin, Alexandria, Jeddah, Port Kelang, Ningbo, Busan, Shanghai, Shenzhen (Shekou), Singapore, and back to Beirut.
The addition of Mersin strengthens the Ocean Alliance’s regional coverage in the eastern Mediterranean while maintaining direct links to major Asian ports, supporting both import and export demand across the network.
