The Ocean Alliance — comprising CMA CGM, COSCO Shipping Lines/OOCL, and Evergreen — has expanded its Europe–Far East FAL1 service by adding a new call at Gothenburg. The service, operated by CMA CGM, is provided by a fleet of 15 vessels of around 17,000 TEU capacity.
With this adjustment, the updated rotation now reads: Southampton, Dunkirk, Gdansk, Gothenburg, Southampton, Le Havre, Port Kelang, Ningbo, Shanghai, Shenzhen (Yantian), Singapore, Tangier, and back to Southampton.
According to DynaLiners, the inclusion of Gothenburg strengthens Ocean Alliance’s Northern Europe coverage, offering improved connectivity for Scandinavian exporters and importers to major Asian markets. The addition also reflects the growing importance of Gothenburg as a strategic gateway for North European trade flows.
