Nippon Express expands Digital Freight with Freightos

Nippon Express (NX Group), a top-five global freight forwarder, has adopted Freightos’ multimodal freight pricing and booking Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to enhance operations across its network in 57 countries. The deployment builds on Nippon Express’ existing use of WebCargo by Freightos for thousands of monthly air bookings, now extending to multimodal shipments to streamline quoting and booking across air and ocean transport.

Freightos’ platform, which handles over 1.5 million bookings annually, enables Nippon Express to respond quickly to shifting trade patterns, capacity constraints, and customer demands. API integrations with the company’s internal systems, combined with Freightos Terminal, a market intelligence tool for air and ocean, provide real-time insights to optimize pricing and routing in volatile markets.
