Hapag-Lloyd and Maersk’s Gemini Cooperation has restored Ningbo to its WC5/TP7 service following the recent easing of port-call charge tensions between the United States and China. The port had been temporarily removed from the rotation about five to six weeks ago.
With Ningbo now back in the network, the full service rotation returns to: Busan – Ningbo – Los Angeles – Yokohama – Busan.
The carriers said the update brings the product back to its intended routing and improves stability across the transpacific loop.
