Neptune Pacific Line has announced it will apply a General Rate Increase (GRI) on cargo bound for Micronesia, the Marshall Islands, and the Solomon Islands, effective from 1 August 2025.
The company cited rising operational costs, particularly related to cargo handling and the repositioning of empty containers, as key drivers behind the adjustment. The GRI will apply to both dry and reefer shipments loaded from the effective date onward.
Neptune Pacific emphasized that the move is necessary to maintain the current level of service across the region and ensure sustainable operations amid ongoing cost pressures.
