NAVTOR launches Middle East office

NAVTOR has announced the opening of its newest office in Dubai, establishing NAVTOR Middle East as part of the company’s global expansion strategy. The new branch aims to better serve the growing maritime sector in the region by providing local access to its suite of smart shipping and digital navigation solutions.

The move comes on the heels of the recent launch of NAVTOR Türkiye and reflects the company’s steady growth across the Middle East. With over 18,000 vessels now using its technology worldwide, NAVTOR has long viewed the region as a key strategic hub. The Dubai office marks the next phase of direct engagement with local shipping companies.

Amitabh Sankranti, known for leading NAVTOR’s breakthrough work in Digital Logbooks, has been appointed Managing Director – Middle East. “Dubai continues to grow as a major maritime center, with new players entering the market and driving demand for smarter, more efficient solutions,” said Sankranti.
