Mundra Port — Adani Ports (APSEZ)’s flagship cargo gateway in India — is preparing itself to meet the steady demand growth from container lines through the addition of substantial new capacity.
The port already operates five container terminals, offering a combined capacity of some 9 million TEUs annually. But it has operated at over 80% capacity in recent years due to rising volumes, driven in some part by regional transhipment cargo.
