MSC to impose rate increases from Italy to America

MSC, the second-largest shipping line in the world, will apply new Freight All Kinds (FAK) increases for sailings travelling from Italy to America.

More specifically, the Swiss carrier will increase its rates from the Italian ports of La Spezia and Genova to various American destinations, including Montreal and Vancouver in Canada, Veracruz and Ensenada in Mexico, Caucedo in the Dominican Republic, as well as New York and Long Beach in the United States.

The European liner operator explained that the prices which will be increased for all 20′, 40′ and high cube standard containers following the aforementioned routes, will be effective from 25 November and not beyond 25 December.
