MSC suspends the EAGLE service

As a result of the challenging operating environment for business on the Transpacific trade, MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. has, together with our alliance partner Maersk Line, decided to suspend the EAGLE service, effective voyage 826N, and until further notice.

The following standard contingency plan will allow you to continue to place your MSC bookings with limited disruption to your cargo flows:

WEEK 27 (with departure from busan 4 July) AND ONWARDS

  • Effective voyage 826N, cargo originally intended to be loaded on the EAGLE service, will be covered by our MAPLE service
  • The MAPLE service will replace its Prince Rupert and Vancouver rotation with calls at Vancouver and Seattle
  • A new call at Prince Rupert will be added to our ORIENT service, offering a direct service from Xingang, Qingdao and Busan to Prince Rupert and the hinterland
  • The current Ningbo call on the ORIENT will be replaced with a Ningbo call on our JAGUAR product, offering an undisrupted service to Long Beach and Oakland

For further details concerning new sailing and arrival dates, we kindly ask you to direct your queries to your local MSC sales representative.
