MSC shortens intra-Far East service

Swiss/Italian ocean carrier MSC has decided to drop Tanjung Pelepas, Subic Bay, Manila and Shanghai from its intra-Far East Origami service, according to DynaLiners.

Additionally, MSC has removed a container vessel from the fleet deployed on the service port rotation, which is now operated by five boxships of approximately 4,000 TEUs.

The updated port rotation is Tokyo (Japan), Yokohama (Japan), Yokkaichi (Japan), Nagoya (Japan), Busan (South Korea), Ho Chi Minh (Cai Mep, Vietnam), Singapore, Kaohsiung (Taiwan), Busan, Tokyo.
