MSC sets new charges to Antwerp and Valencia

Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has announced new prices from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka to Europe, effective from 1 July.

The Swiss container carrier will apply the following Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates from India and Pakistan to the main European hubs of Antwerp and Valencia.

All Prices are in US$ unless otherwise specified

Additionally, MSC will implement the following FAK rates from the Port of Colombo to Antwerp and Valencia.

Furthermore, the Geneva-headquartered company has published a new equipment imbalance surcharge for dry cargo going from Sri Lanka to Red Sea and Europe due to the strong container demand for the European market and the consequent need for costly ad hoc inventory repositioning.

Effective from 1 July (B/L date) until further notice, the EBS will be charged US$200/40 HC.
