
MSC has announced the launch of a new standalone service, Sambar, connecting China with Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia. The service is designed to provide faster transit times and additional direct corridors between key Asian markets.
Alongside the new loop, MSC will enhance its Pertiwi service to strengthen links from North and South China to Indonesia, and its Orchid service connecting South China and Vietnam. The upgrades are scheduled to begin in October and November 2025.

Sambar rotation: Dalian – Incheon – Tianjin Xingang – Qingdao – Da Chan Bay – Dong Nai – Laem Chabang – Singapore – Penang – Pasir Gudang – Singapore – Tanjung Pelepas – Busan – Dalian.
Pertiwi rotation: Busan – Dalian – Tianjin Xingang – Qingdao – Shekou – Singapore – Jakarta – Panjang – Jakarta – Singapore – Hong Kong – Nansha – Busan.
Orchid rotation: Fuzhou – Shantou – Hong Kong – Shekou – Yantian – Haiphong – Singapore – Qinzhou – Hong Kong – Fuzhou.
