MSC launches new Canada Express Service

MSC has announced the introduction of the Canada Express Service, a new transatlantic route designed to strengthen connections between Northern Spain and the Canadian market. The service aims to offer exporters in the region faster transit times, guaranteed space and equipment, and a reliable weekly link to key Canadian gateways.

The new service will begin with the MSC YANG R, voyage CE551A, departing the Port of Vigo on 22 December. MSC said the addition of this route provides an attractive solution for shippers seeking to expand their business and enhance trade flows between Spain and Canada.

The rotation of the new Canada Express Service is:

Malaga – Sines – Vigo – Gijon – Bilbao – Felixstowe – Antwerp – Le Havre – Montreal – Halifax – Malaga – Sines

MSC noted that the route offers broad market coverage across the Iberian Peninsula and Northern Europe, combined with direct access to major East Coast Canadian ports, enabling improved supply chain reliability for customers on both sides of the Atlantic.
