
MSC has announced the launch of Firehorse service, a new standalone service providing direct and fast connections between China, Singapore, and Indonesia, as part of a broader enhancement of its intra-Asia network.
Alongside the introduction of Firehorse, MSC is upgrading several existing intra-Asia services to improve connectivity and offer more competitive access to key regional trade hubs. The carrier said the changes are aimed at delivering more seamless transit and stronger network coverage across Asia.
The first sailings under the enhanced services are scheduled as follows. Firehorse will commence with MSC Palatium III on voyage HC610A, with an estimated arrival in Shanghai on 5 March 2026. The Seagull service will start with MSC Japan III on voyage HU610A, arriving in Shanghai on 3 March 2026. Seahorse will be launched with MSC Aldi III on voyage HO610A, arriving in Shanghai on 4 March 2026, while Saola will begin with MSC Shirley II on voyage HS610A, also arriving in Shanghai on 4 March 2026.
Further first sailings include the Bengal service with MSC Emily II on voyage SX611R, arriving in Chattogram on 10 March 2026, and the Pertiwi service with MSC Bern V on voyage HW610R, arriving in Panjang on 7 March 2026.
The Bayan Ko service will start with MSC Ida II on voyage HK610A, arriving in Hong Kong on 1 March 2026. Kouprey will commence with Sea Star 1 on voyage HJ609A, arriving in Kampong Saom on 27 February 2026, while the Thai service will start with MSC Ren V on voyage HN608A, arriving at Laem Chabang on 18 February 2026.
