MSC implements peak season surcharges from North Europe to Americas

Due to strong demand from North Europe, including the United Kingdom and Scanbaltic, to the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Bahamas, MSC has decided to introduce a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) as follows:

For the US, Puerto Rico and Bahamas ports of destination, the PSS will be charged at:

  • US$800/20DV
  • US$1,000/40DV-HC
  • US$1,500/REEFER

For Canada ports of destination, the PSS will be charged at:

  • US$800/20DV
  • US$1,000/40DV-HC
  • US$1,500/REEFER

For Mexico ports of destination, the PSS will be charged at:

  • US$700/20DV
  • US$800/40DV-HC
  • US$1,000/REEFER

The surcharges will be effective from 1 September until further notice.
