MSC implements peak season surcharge on West Mediterranean & Adriatic to North America

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company will introduce a Peak Season Surcharge ιn response to strong and sustained demand on the trade from the West Mediterranean and Adriatic to Canada, the USA, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Bahamas.

Effective 23 June 2025 and until further notice, the following surcharge will apply to all container types with a US$ 500 fee per 20’ container and a US$ 700 fee per 40’ container.

This measure is aimed at maintaining service reliability and operational efficiency during the peak season period.
