MSC announces new rate increase in Australia

MSC has announced a hike in Freight All Kind (FAK) rates from India, Pakistan and Colombo to Australia.

Effective from 8 January until further notice, all cargo moving from all India, Pakistan and Colombo ports to Australia will be subject to a rate increase of US$150/TEU.

In addition, the Swiss/Italian box carrier will increase by US$300/TEU its FAK rates from the port of Chattogram to Australia. The rate increase will also be effective from 8 January.
