MSC Air Cargo to digitalise operations through IBS Software’s solution

MSC Air Cargo unit has selected IBS Software, a software as a service (SaaS) solution provider, as a strategic partner in order to digitally transform its cargo operations.

IBS Software’s iCargo SaaS solution for air cargo management will establish a fully digital platform for MSC that includes cargo sales, operations, cargo accounting, and a portal.

When completely deployed, iCargo will provide MSC with complete visibility into its air cargo value chain, including sales, operations, and accounting, as well as insights for ongoing business development.

“We’re confident the iCargo solution and the team that continuously innovates our products will take MSC’s multi-modal business model to new heights,” stated Ashok Rajan, head of Cargo & Logistics Solutions at IBS Software.

According to a statement, iCargo follows best practices in the air cargo business and is completely consistent with worldwide industry standards and initiatives such as Cargo iQ, C-XML, OneRecord, e-AWB, and e-Freight, making this newest breakthrough significant in the logistics industry.
