MSC adds Portland to Mustang service

Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) will extend its Mustang service connecting China with the United States, adding a port call in Portland, Oregon.

MSC said this new addition complements its Rose service, which also calls at the US port of Portland.

The new Mustang rotation also includes a call at the international transshipment hub of Busan, South Korea, en route to Portland, with the return leg to Asia being a direct short hop between Los Angeles and Shanghai.

Hence, the revised port rotation will be: Shanghai – Busan – Portland – Los Angeles – Shanghai

The first sailing of the updated service will be MSC Bhavya on voyage UV152A, which is estimated to depart Shanghai on 26 December.
