MSC adds Kuala Tanjung to Singapore–Indonesia feeder service

MSC has started serving Kuala Tanjung through its Singapore–Indonesia Malacca Feeder service, marking the port’s only international container connection, according to Dynaliners.

The port is typically served by Indonesian domestic operators, making MSC’s move a notable expansion of international connectivity for Kuala Tanjung.

Under the service, MSC deploys a single 2,600 TEU vessel operating on the rotation Singapore – Belawan – Kuala Tanjung – Singapore.

The addition strengthens MSC’s regional feeder network in Southeast Asia while providing Kuala Tanjung with direct access to Singapore’s global transshipment hub.
