MRC financing of its environmental activities

From the beginning of 2018, Multipurpose Reloading Complex LLC (MRC, a company of UCL Holding) allocated over RUB 3 million for implementation of its environment protection measures, which is 12% more as compared with the same period in the previous year.

The growth was driven by increased allocations for modernization of the company’s environmental facilities, by 15% to RUB 1.9 million. In particular, MRC spent a considerable amount for maintenance of water treatment facilities and for their reconstruction design.

More than RUB 750,000 – as much as in the same year – were spent for environmental monitoring. Specialists of the company’s accredited laboratory were performing a regular monitoring of air and natural water quality as well as noise level at the border of the sanitary protection zone.  According to the findings, MSC impact on the environment complies with the standards thereof.

To ensure safe management of production and consumption wastes, the company allocated more than RUB 360,000 for waste disposal and for development of draft waste generation norms and waste disposal limits.
