MEDLOG inaugurates integrated logistics park in Saudi Arabia

MEDLOG logistics park

MEDLOG has inaugurated MEDLOG 1, a new integrated logistics park at King Abdulaziz Port, marking a further step in Saudi Arabia’s ambition to position itself as a global logistics hub under Vision 2030.

The facility, officially opened on 16 February 2026, spans more than 100,000 square meters and offers an annual handling capacity of over 300,000 TEU. The development enhances MEDLOG’s logistics capabilities across the Kingdom, supporting both domestic and international customers.

Integrated multimodal hub

MEDLOG 1 has been designed as a fully integrated logistics park handling containerized, general cargo and bulk operations. Services include container handling and storage, container cleaning and repair, port shuttle operations, inventory management, and specialized reefer and ISO/flexi tank inspection and maintenance, including food-grade tanker support.

The site incorporates advanced technologies such as GPS-enabled trucking and alternative energy solutions aimed at improving operational safety and environmental performance.

Strategic location and inland connectivity

Located near Jubail Industrial City and key urban centers, the Dammam-based facility connects road, rail and port infrastructure, facilitating cargo flows between the eastern, central and western regions of Saudi Arabia. Value-added services such as cross-docking, packaging, labeling and dedicated logistics management offices are also available to streamline supply chains.

Supporting Vision 2030

The inauguration forms part of MEDLOG’s broader infrastructure investments in Saudi Arabia, aligned with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 strategy to diversify the economy and strengthen logistics and transport networks.

Giuseppe Prudente, Chairman, MEDLOG, said: “MEDLOG is committed to the Kingdom, strengthening infrastructure and expanding access to international markets in alignment with Vision 2030.

Saudi Arabia is a strategic corridor with access to rapidly growing markets across three major continents. Together, leveraging the world’s largest ocean liner and MEDLOG’s growing footprint, we contribute to Saudi Arabia’s global competitive advantage and deliver unmatched solutions and value to our customers.”

MEDLOG operates as the inland logistics arm of MSC, supporting multimodal transport solutions and integrated supply chain services worldwide.
