Malaysian ports record growth in Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, Malaysian ports handled a total of 7.70 million TEUs, marking a 6% year-on-year increase.

The strongest performance came from Tanjung Pelepas, Maersk’s key hub, which saw an impressive 11% growth. In comparison, Port Kelang recorded a more modest 2% rise.
