Maersk is updating the peak season surcharge for shipments Middle East and Indian Subcontinent to US and Canada West Coast.
It will be applied for the United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Bhutan, India, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen to the US and Canadian West Coast, effective from 2 October 2025.
The revised tariff levels for shipments from the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent to the US and Canadian West Coast are as follows: 20DRY containers are priced at US$1200, 40DRY and 40HDRY containers are priced at US$1200, 45HDRY containers are priced at $1200, 20REEF containers are priced at US$3000, and 40HREF containers are priced at US$3000.
These rates are subject to additional surcharges, including local charges and contingency charges and remain independent of, and do not impact, any tariffs notified, published, or filed in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
