Danish ocean carrier Maersk is consolidating the SLH and SLZ services into the new SLN – MEDITERRANEAN SEA C.

The new direct service between East Mediterranean and West Mediterranean will reduce transit times for both export and import customers, according to the company, improving time to market.

The SLN service rotation will include: Mersin (Turkey) – Haifa (Israel) – Alexandria (Egypt) – Fos Sur Mer (France) – Barcelona (Spain) – Valencia (Spain) – Algeciras (Spain) – Casablanca (Morocco) – Port Tangier (Morocco).

The SLN – MEDITERRANEAN SEA C service is scheduled to launch on 10 January with the container vessel Nexoe Maersk departing from the port of Barcelona.
