Maersk has announced an upcoming adjustment to its Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) on shipments from Far East Asia to the Mediterranean, covering the E2W – FEA to MED trade lanes. The revised surcharge will apply to relevant contracts starting from 15 July 2025, based on the Price Calculation Date (PCD).
The PSS is intended to support continued service reliability during periods of high demand. Customers will see the updated surcharge reflected in their latest invoices. Maersk notes that all surcharges are reviewed on a regular basis to ensure alignment with market conditions and service standards.
