Maersk has announced the suspension of its TP9 service from Asia to the U.S. West Coast for the remainder of Q4 2025. Initially, the service was planned for three blanked voyages in October—540E, 541E, and 542E—but network adjustments have led to a full suspension.
The final eastbound sailing will be the Synergy Keelung 539E departing from Xiamen on 23 September 2025. Following this voyage, TP9 will remain suspended until further notice.
Maersk confirmed that alternative routing solutions via its existing network will be provided to minimize disruption and maintain supply chain coverage. Customers will be updated regarding any potential reinstatement of the TP9 service.
